Chantilly Lace
Larisa Olson built a lingerie shop around the kind of personal service shoppers struggle to find. Her new website makes that service the reason to drive to Wilmette.

A shop worth getting out of your chair for
At Chantilly Lace, a fitter brings the bras to you. She knows how they fit, what works under your clothes, and what you might never have picked from a rack. The Wilmette shop has been fitting women since 1995. Larisa Olson bought it in 2015 and built on that expertise with the warmth, wit, and personal attention her regulars come back for.
That is her answer to online shopping. Someone who knows what she is doing, in the room with you. The website needed to make people want that experience before they ever walked through the door.
Make the fitting the reason to visit
The old website had the ingredients: the team, the story, the press, the products. But they were scattered across pages and domains. It took work to understand what made Chantilly Lace special or find the right way to book.
We rebuilt the site around the experience Larisa had already created. “Just an Old-Fashioned Brick-and-Mortar Store” became a proud invitation. An illustrated boutique counter opens the homepage, with objects that lead into the departments. Instead of arriving at another grid of products, visitors arrive somewhere they want to explore.
Give a shop fitting women since 1995 the presence of an established boutique
Hand-drawn frames, vintage details, pink, gold, and playful movement carry the shop's character through the site. Larisa's own merchandise and store photographs keep it grounded in the real place. The design has the charm of a boutique and enough polish to make the care behind it clear.
The team gets the same attention as the lingerie. Their portraits, experience, and individual personalities show the people who will help you. The store's story and press coverage give that welcome substance. This is an established business with a point of view about how shopping should feel.

Give people a reason to come in, then make it easy
“Why We Don't Sell Online” turns the absence of a shopping cart into the argument for a visit. The fitters know these bras. The customer does not have to work it all out herself.
Department pages show what is in store and lead naturally to a fitting. The Chantilly Edit explains a more personal wardrobe appointment. Visitors can book with a fitter, call or text the shop, or get directions, with hours and the walk-in welcome close at hand. On phones, those practical actions stay easy to reach.
A website with the presence of the business behind it
Chantilly Lace now presents online as the established boutique it is in person. The fitting expertise, the team, the range, and Larisa's belief in personal service work together to answer the question every visitor brings. Why should I come here?
The new site launched October 19, 2026 on Squarespace, with one home at chantillylace.shop and her familiar addresses leading visitors there. Larisa's team adds new arrivals and keeps the shop's news current as the business grows.
