A new approach to trauma therapy
Experienced trauma therapists were bringing Crystal a problem their training had not resolved. What happens when EMDR brings up a painful memory and the client shuts down, disconnects, or cannot move forward?
Her IFS-Informed EMDR framework teaches clinicians how to work with the protective responses behind those moments. It brings the relational understanding of Internal Family Systems into the structure of EMDR, giving therapists a practical way to integrate two complex models when the work gets difficult.
Crystal took that contribution to the 2025 EMDRIA Conference. Her teaching with Trauma Therapist Institute and Insight Timer drew more than 1,000 registrations.
Over 400 clinicians joined her live to learn how she brings IFS into EMDR.
Her reputation had outgrown the way she was presented
Align's website still led with “Helping Therapists go from Surviving to Thriving.” That described one part of the business, but it did not tell a visitor that Crystal was advancing the way their profession works. Her framework sat among services, and her conference and teaching credentials were buried on the media page.
A therapist arriving after one of her presentations needed to recognize the same authority they had just experienced. An event organizer needed to see a leader with a distinct contribution to teach. The website was making both people look too hard for the reason to choose her.
We rebuilt Align around her standing in the profession.
“The home of IFS-Informed EMDR” now opens the site. Her framework defines the business, with her EMDRIA presentation and the demand for her teaching directly beneath it. The new hierarchy establishes why clinicians come to Crystal before asking them to choose a program.

Give her expertise the presence it deserves
Align's peonies, lilac, and soft light already expressed the warmth of Crystal's work. We expanded that visual language into a more commanding website, with oversized imagery, generous space, and large typography that gives her ideas room to lead.
Deep plum sections give the training material weight. Her portrait, clinical credentials, and framework story put a recognized expert behind the teaching. The result feels personal enough to trust and substantial enough to support a serious investment in professional education.
Build the business around the contribution
Clinicians had asked Crystal for a course, a certificate, and a path into consultation. Her teaching was becoming a way to develop other leaders in the field. The website needed to make that scale visible.

We gave IFS-Informed EMDR a dedicated page that explains the clinical problem it addresses and Crystal's contribution. From there, the site connects introductory learning to advanced training, certification support, and consultant development. Visitors can see how deeply they can study with her and how the work can shape their own practice.
Curriculum, consultation hours, participant feedback, and payment options sit together on each program page. The professional commitment is clear, with the distinction between Align's training and independently awarded credentials stated precisely.

Crystal's work is about access to rigorous IFS training, so the site has to provide that access on its own. It answers questions, routes each visitor, closes the referral loop and delivers her courses.
A program assistant that stays in its lane
Visitors can ask about Align's programs, groups, courses and events. The assistant answers only from Align's published pages and current offer details, links its sources, and declines anything that would be therapy, coaching or diagnosis. It keeps no conversation logs.
An assessment that routes people to the right support
Five questions point a visitor toward therapy, a group or Speak for Parts, with a scored result and a personal next-step plan.
A contact form that reaches the right person
Each inquiry reason, from training and certification to therapy openings and press, reveals the team members who handle it, with a Help me choose option. A clear note keeps clinical details out of the form.
Referrals that close the loop
When a referral comes in, Crystal and the therapist are notified and the client goes straight to that therapist's own scheduler. The therapist marks the outcome Booked, Not a fit or No response with one click, and the record stores no personal details.
One source for every date and price
Every group and cohort fact, from price and facilitator to start date and availability, lives in one ledger that updates the group directory, program pages, homepage and search data with each release. Once a listing's review date passes, the next release shows "Contact Align for current availability" in place of an old date.
Private course delivery
Course buyers reach password-protected lessons and files after checkout, and the downloads stay private.
