Unleashing the Power of YOU: Get Better Headshots

Get headshots that reflect your brand.

Every week, I talk to another business owner who is settling for a lackluster website because they’re waiting to get new headshots!

I know it can be nerve-wracking to update your photos, but I’ve got seven tips to help you nail your shoot, show off your brand, and actually have a blast doing it.

1. Get Your Brand Vibe On

First things first, let's get clear on your brand's personality. Who are you trying to reach? What makes your business special? Nail this down, and you'll start to get original, fantastic ideas for your shoot.

2. Tell Your Story

Think about the journey your clients go on with you. What's their life like before and after working with you? Get specific - it'll help you plan out your shoot.

3. Strike a Pose (But Make It You)

Okay, let's talk poses. Yes, we all want to look good, but let's focus on what your clients need to see. What poses show off your solutions? What expressions capture their transformation? And don't forget to have fun with it!

4. Props Are Your Friends

Bring in some goodies that scream "you"! Maybe it's your cozy office corner or your favorite mug. Whatever it is, let it shine in your pics.

5. Choose Your Photographer Wisely

Oh, how I wish clients would consult me before they simply hire someone who does graduation shots. Finding the right photographer is like dating - you gotta find someone who gets you and someone who understands brand photoshoots!

Do your homework, check out their work, and make sure you vibe well together.

6. Share the Love

Once you've got those awesome shots, don't just let them sit on your hard drive! Use them creatively in you social media, on blog posts, and on your website!

Your site is now a true reflection of your amazing brand and business!

Not quite convinced you can get great shots? Worried that you’ll be let down by yet another photographer? Let me help!

Get gorgeous new headshots without ever leaving your house!
