Stop Tolerating Things in Your Business (and Life)

Me, on Michigan Avenue, overlooking the Chicago River and grinning because I've finally made it home.

My neighbor is close enough that I could shake his hand if we both leaned halfway out our windows.

And he loves Barbara Streisand.

Like, a lot.

So I hear a lot of Barbara, and a lot of him singing.

And it's delightful.

I've been so annoyed in my life at neighbors. Everything from lawn mowing to flag poles to "little birds yapping their fool heads off" has warranted gnashing of teeth at having to share my space with animals and ugh, people.

Until I moved to the city where I'm supposed to be.

And apparently, now, neighbors are charming, the roar of sirens is comforting, and even the yappy little birds are cute.

It's wild.

If there's anything in your life (or business) that you've been putting up with, let me tell you that it's not required. In fact, it's probably costing you business, opportunities, and time here on the planet. Set it down, friend. This journey isn't meant for baggage.

You ruin your life by tolerating it. ~ Bianca Sparacino
